Due to increasing volumes a new vacancy has arisen for an additional Customer Service Advisor within our busy accident repair centre, location in Durham.

Main purpose of Job:
  • Duties include dealing with customer requirements for vehicle repair in an efficient and courteous manner and to ensure a high standard of customer service.
Key Objectives and Tasks:
  • You will provide a service that books, as applicable, vehicles in and out in a manner that minimises customer waiting time. To operate the courtesy car provision in an efficient manner in order to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that customers are greeted in a professional manner, and the estimator formally introduces the company.
  • Ensure that all customers’ data is effectively captured and recorded in a legible format onto the manual estimate sheet; in line with GDPR regulations.
  • Maintain a filing system for job cards, invoices and associated paperwork and provide vehicle progress reports when requested by the customer.
  • On completion of the job, collect payment from the customer paying particular attention to banking/security arrangements and the payment of excesses on certain insurance policies.
  • Be aware of and adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies applicable to your position or environment.
Experience, Qualifications and Training:
  • Experience of working in an administration/customer service reception role is essential.
  • Specific training and coaching will be given on site for the successful applicant who has a positive attitude and wants to be part of an amazing team.

  • 42.5 hours per week, plus overtime when required.
